We started Sister Built Solutions because we wanted to build something for our future—and the generations after us—with helping people at the very center.
We're three sisters, building a future where technology makes life and business easier for everyone. As we explored what AI could do, we saw opportunities to make everyday life and running a business more manageable. One of our sisters is a data scientist, which brings technical knowledge to the practical questions we want to help people answer.
Questions like: Why am I entering the same information twice? How can I keep track of the people I need to follow up with? Can something help me organize the thoughts that are taking up so much space in my head?
Those are useful starting points. A business doesn't need a complicated technology makeover for one frustrating task to get easier.
What you'll find here
This blog is a place for practical explanations, useful demonstrations, and ideas you can try yourself. We'll explore AI for ordinary life as well as the work that happens behind the scenes in a small business.
Some articles will give you a prompt you can copy. Others will help you think through a process before you invest in a tool. We'll explain unfamiliar terms in everyday language and show where your own judgment still matters.
You shouldn't need to become a technology expert to understand the next step.
Start with one thing you'd like to make easier
Try this small exercise: finish the sentence, “I wish I didn't have to spend so much time on ______.”
Then write down what actually happens. “Messages” might mean answering the same question repeatedly, remembering who needs a reply, or searching through conversations for a detail. Each of those is a different problem—and may need a different solution.
Getting specific is useful even if you never automate anything. It helps you see where the work is going.
Our tagline is We build smarter ways to work. That starts with listening, understanding the real problem, and exploring what makes sense for the person or business doing the work.
We're glad you're here. What would you like help making easier: your business, everyday life, or both?
